WATERCOLOR CLASSES   2017

PAINTING AROUND THE COLORWHEEL

Fun  *  Informative  *  A Wide Variety of Topics   *  Step-by-step demonstrations

Students of all experience levels are welcome   *  Reference photos and sketches provided

Every month features one of the 12 colors of the color wheel.  Learn the history of the
colors, their complements, strengths, and qualities.  The subjects of monthly projects
will vary between landscapes, portraits, still life, florals and more.  This is a great
learning experience and a nice way to meet new friends.  All skill levels are welcome.

There are carefully chosen and exciting topics for each month, selected to keep you
interested and learning new things. Students may duplicate the demonstration painting,
change it somewhat to make it their own, or bring in their own topic-related reference
material and work at their own pace.  Composition, color-mixing, technique and more
     are discussed with every lesson.

Classes will be taught in four-week courses with new projects each month.  Every project
is adaptable to skill levels beginner to advanced.

First priority will be given to students registering for the entire month's course but if
there are openings in a class, students are welcome to sign up for weekly, or partial
classes. Cropped or simpler projects will be discussed for those students.

In addition, for those wishing a more in-depth lesson over a less extended time, several
times a year there are 2-day workshops offerred with a variety of new and fun subjects.
